Precast U-Ditch 10–360 cm

What it is for: draining surface water along roads, factory yards, housing estates and car parks. An open channel gets sun and air, so water does not go stale as easily as in closed pipes, and it is easy to maintain.

Choose in 3 steps

1. Width: 10 to 360 cm, according to the water volume of the area. Not sure? Send us the area size and our sales team will help.
2. Channel type: with a shoulder to seat the cover, without shoulder, with steel angle edges (for channels that will take steel gratings, protecting the concrete from wear where steel meets concrete, or as the owner specifies), or with 30 cm dowels.
3. Cover: 2-tonne covers for walkways, 20-tonne covers where vehicles pass; economical concrete, rust-proof painted steel or hot-dip galvanized steel.

Basic installation steps

1. Excavate the trench and compact the base
2. Pour or level the bedding to the design fall
3. Lay the channels end to end and grout the joints
4. Place the covers
